Share My Creation Out Of Office

following in the footsteps of sms Forward(er), this is OutOfOffice. if someone in your contacts sends a text and you're - um - out of the "office", they get an out-of-office reply. strangers are ignored (never talk to strangers). you can turn the service on or off at will. customize your personal message.

OutOfOffice and its older sister (Forward(er) use an implicit system broadcast receiver to monitor incoming texts. according to google's current rules - at least as i interpret them - the receiver will spring to life when a text is received even if the device is sleeping. (this is the same behavior as that of the system messages app.) technically, i suppose there is no such thing as an app which cannot be stopped if android deems it necessary. in my experience, i can say that even when i turn on the device, the receiver works without the app's being launched.
